Materials

• Template
• Colored pencils or markers
• Scissors
• Glue
• Bottle caps
• Double-sided tape

Instructions

Step 1)

Print and cut out the leaf and apple template. Trace the template pieces onto colored paper, construction paper or cardstock then cut them out.  

Step 3)

Glue the apple stem and leaf to the top of the apple, and glue the white strip and dot to the side of the apple. 

Step 4)

You can either draw the eyes and mouth onto the leaf and apple with a black marker, or cut them out of black construction paper.

Step 5)

Put a piece of clay at the bottom of the bottle cap to make sure it rocks from side to side.

Step 6)

Lastly, attach the leaf and apple to their bottle cap with a dot of glue or double-sided tape.
