Tips & Tricks

Sturdy Templates:

Print the templates on card stock or glue them onto cardboard for extra durability. This makes coloring and cutting a breeze, and your turkeys will have a solid foundation.

Using Clay:

When adding clay to the bottle caps, ensure it’s evenly distributed for a balanced rocking motion. Experiment with the amount to achieve the perfect wobble without tipping over.

Double-Sided Tape Magic:

If you’re feeling impatient or want a mess-free option, opt for double-sided tape to attach the turkey to the bottle cap. It’s quick, clean, and turkey-friendly!

Coloring Tips:

Coloring your templates before you cut them out helps ensure your table stays mess-free. Alternatively, if you cut out the template THEN color it, put it on top of some scrap paper or newspaper to protect your table.
